Movies and images taken out of the trailer window

Mpeg movies of black-and-white QuickCam photos from the research trailer window. The ocean and coast south of the site and a portion of the measurement tower are visible.

Here are some examples of these images. Some waves on the coastline are visible in the middle, along with the tower and guy wires in the foreground.

Aerial photo of Cape Pine
Left: Aerial photo of Cape Pine (w/o tower). Right: The instrumented tower and trailer.
The view in the aerial photo is looking toward the north, approximately.

The view of the instrumented tower is looking from the WSW, approximately.
The instruments on the top of the tower are, from left to right, the wind sensor, a box containing the NO2 converter, the NOx/NOy inlet and calibration box, the filter sampler box (large aluminum box) with the PAN/RONO2 inlet and calibration box just below (small aluminum box), the Eppley radiometer mounted on a piece of plywood above the level of the filter box, and the orange CO/O3 inlet and calibration box.

The temperature and rain sensor is visible on the far corner of the top section of tower. The box one level below contains the NO2 converter power supply.

The white object to the right of the trailer is the fog sensor.

The plywood flooring on the top tower section, and the box covering the filter sampler pump (located next to the trailer) blew away during the storm in late November that also blew part of the roof off of the trailer.
